The main focus is currently on the ASUS, where I currently have an issue with Cut-Through Forwarding (CTF) together with NAT Loopback. I like testing different things, and recently I had some time on my hands and bought and tested different setups of dd-wrt, tomato, advanced tomato on: Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.I am decently new to Tomato and Advanced Tomato, but am very happy with all the work that is put into the firmwares by various people. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available. Do not load a saved copy of your settings. You can revert back to an original ASUS firmware at any time. You should not need to reset to factory defaults. This custom firmware can be applied like any regular update. The various MAC/IP selection pulldowns will also display hostnames when possible instead of just NetBIOS names Wifi icon reports the state of both radios Wireless client IP and hostname on the Wireless Log page Seems I was wrong about CTF being key part of this, though CTF fixes in the Asus Merlin firmware are NAT Loopback related.
